"Discrimination"
Good evening it was very disheartening for myself today I stopped by a Cato's in Columbia South Carolina to inquire about a job opportunity. I spoke to the manager and asked were they hiring she inform it that they were not I asked a few more questions and proceeded to leave the store. As leaving the store I happen to look up in the window and see and now hiring side after being told that they weren't hiring it made me feel very disrespected being as though I am somebody that has a disability and has use of a wheelchair I really felt discriminated against and felt that I was treated unfairly. I really believe that I deserve equal opportunity but unfortunately they will never get to know how great I really am.

"Disappointed"
I have always loved how friendly the staff in Cato's LEWISBURG WV is. Until yesterday. I have always loved how they speak when you enter the store. Yesterday I was sad as one spoke or asked if you needed help. Until I checked out. Please don't let this store lose its friendly service.
"I do not even want to give them one…"
I do not even want to give them one star. I am still waiting on an order that I paid for. I called them two different times to tell them that UPS says that though there is a tracking number, but Catos have not asked for the package to be picked up and only the label was made. They denied this on the two different phone calls, saying it was already shipped and on its way. I called one more time today and told them that UPS says that it’s not true once again and she finally admitted it has not even left their warehouse. It is going on 21 days they say they ship between seven and 10 days. The woman was incredibly rude about it.

"Quality clothing"
I find the sales ladies to be extremely friendly and helpful. The clothes are good quality. I highly recommend this ladies clothing store.

When you order online it can be a hit or miss. I have ordered clothes that has been good quality and some that has been very cheap. Read the reviews before purchasing on each item.

"Cato Fashion is one of my favorite…"
Cato Fashion is one of my favorite stores. When I go into the Cato store in Hope Mills, NC, I'm always greeted with a warm hello. Any time I need assistance the customer service rep, are always on hand to give assistance. One of my favorite customer service reps named Stephanie, she's always pleasant and very helpful. There prices are very reasonable, they even have a layaway if just don't have the money to purchase what you like at the time of purchase. You can find great deals on the clearance racks as well. You rock Cato.

"Bad customer service and poor management"
Cato corporation is a horrible company to work for. They do not care about their employees and the salary sucks. Their clothes are satisfactory but some things are over priced, my main reason that I would not patronize this company is because they do not treat their employees good at all a perfect example of overworked and underpaid!

"Cato customer service"
I love Cato's clothes and other merchandise! But their customer service when and if you have to call them leaves a lot to be desired! Their personnel are snooty and uncaring of your issues. I had a credit card with them for many years but got so upset with them around 5 years ago that I canceled it; although I still do buy from them very often. I have recently had issues using gift cards when I was doing my online orders; their system just wouldn't accept my cards! Had to call on the phone to use them and one rep that I questioned about the non-working CCs said "I have no idea why they don't work", no offer to check into it or anything! They act like they do you a favor by letting you buy their clothes! And many other instances of their snottiness recently too. I love the clothes but it's not worth putting up with these workers! They are gonna FA & FO about losing longtime customers!

"Smh"
Cato fashion has really fallen off of the deep end, the store clothing is very limited a small collection and very old fashioned clothing that look like something you'd find at a good will hammy down store, but back in the 1990's and early 2000's Cato was really booming with all of the latest fashion and very unique clothes it use to be one of the best & popular women clothing store to shop at for all of the latest stylish fashion, but now the stores has ran there course and should just go ahead and shut down permanently...
"I was Once a Regular Customer"
I had the worst experience shopping at the 518 store in Katy, Texas last night. The sales person (Diane) and store manager (Randi) don't know how to provide good customer service. I was making a purchase but also returning a pair of leggings that I bought on sale for $9.99 and I did not have the receipt so Diane tells me I can only get back $4.99 since I did not have my receipt. I pointed out that the tags were still in tact but she said "we need the receipt so we can see what you paid for them." Of course the tag clearly showed they were bought on sale for $9.99 so I told Diane I did not agree with their "Policy" and she grabbed a sign from in front of the register with the store policy and put in my face to read. She kept emphasizing on the "return policy" and at one point I stated that I did not have do business with them and with an attitude she responded saying "No you sure don't" so I asked to speak with the manager, who I thought would be more professional, but she also kept emphasizing what the policy was and picked up the same sign for me to read but also felt the need to point out the policy was also printed on the receipt. I was not fighting over the $5 they wanted to keep, I just made the comment that I did not agree with their return policy, especially if the tags were still in tact on the item. I ended up getting my money back on the 2 items I returned with a receipt but Randi told me the only way to get the $4.99 back for the leggings was to give me a gift receipt. However, I had already told her that I was not going to purchase any new items and would not be shopping at Cato in the future. After spending over an hour in the store, I walked out frustrated and very angry with the leggings I was hoping to return. They have lost my business and after reading some of the other comments that have been made, it seems others have had the same experience I have. This company will not survive if the it continues with their strict return policy and continues hiring unprofessional staff. Maybe I am old school, happy customers can make a business successful but when they stop doing business with you because of poor customer service or strict return policy's, eventually you will not have a business at all.
"Satisfied Customer"
This is where I buy the majority of my clothes. They're always coming up with something different. I always gets my money worth. Great customer service. They have the best clearances. I highly recommend all my friends and coworkers to shop there.

"Love CATO'S clothes"
I have been shopping at Cato's for at least 10 years. I love their different fashions and their quality is fantastic I'm still wearing a lot of my Catos from years ago. I have several closets full of Cato's clothes.
